Hello. So I can write music play piano and sing, but one thing I can not do is put all of them together or "bring them to life". I sit at my piano for hours and hours trying to bring all of them together, trying to make or "produce" a song, but I just can't seem to do it. Is there chords to Neo-Soul/R&B? Something like Alicia Keys! When I say chords I mean, like Jazz Chords are: 1-4-1-5-4-1. Another question would be how do you match chords to the singing? When artist do it do they actually sample each note with the voice? Do they play the note to the chord? Or, do they just play the song and just start singing?
Okay, I really need help with producing R&B music and Neo-Soul...Help(?)?
