Okay 2004 Ford F350 Turbo Diesel owners, have you had tons of problems?

I have had more problems with this thing than the law allows. I have had it into the Ford dealer at least 15 time. Engine troubles galore, head gaskets, turbo...you name it. Did I just get a lemon or what?
 
Or What. Ford has had a lot of issues with the 6.0 diesel. Premature turbo failure and head gaskets are the main issues. Next, your transmission will fail. I did a lot of research before I bought my Super Duty and decided to go with the 7.3. My truck has over 200,000 miles on it and runs strong. I just towed a truck to and from a race over the weekend with no problems at all.
If all your problems are documented and repaired through Ford, speak to an attorney about the Lemon Law (it must be repaired 4 or more times for the exact same problem to be a lemon). A buddy of mine did that with his 2005 Ford and Ford ended up giving him $20,000 back so he would go away.
 
i have an early 2003 w/7.3 and have never had a problem my brother got the change over 03 w/6.0 and in the first 18 months had 2 engines put in plus headgasket repair on both 2 turbos and countless other work ford ended up buying truck back from hom might check into that as there is documented problems w/03-04 models i think they pretty well worked out the design flaws by 05 when he got his i was really impressed w/ride w/ coilovers and the increased power and was tempted to trade my 7.3 in sure glad i didnt go to ford forums there are thousands of posts concerning the 6.0 and how some got their problem solved i do know that 03-04 ford bought back 10s of thousands of the superdutys might be worth checking into if they cant get you fixed up i think i read that they extended parts of the warrenties on the 6.0 so that might help if youve reached the 100000 mile warrenty good luck
 
All car brands will have problems and some will get a lucky one that only needs minor things. But for an 04, yes thats way too many problems. I had a grand prix, a week after I bought the tranny went out. then after i fixed that for $3 out of pocket the engine cracked a head, then the tranny crapped out again. :( thats a lemon.
