perfume? I wrote my husband a letter and decided to spray it with my perfume to remind him of me (he's deployed), but it's a bit strong. I already sealed it in an envelop and put a stamp on it. I thought the strength of the perfume would subside over-night, but it hasn't much. It smells good, but I'm hesitant about sending it off. Is it ok to send? I know this is a stupid question, but I'm just a little concerned.
I didn't mean to spray so much. It just came out like that! I'll spray it in the air and wave my letter through it next time.

Sentence structure is always important dear. Does the recipient of the letter smell like strong perfume? If so, I guess that's your husband's personal preference.

If it's the letter that smells like strong perfume, then I would suggest that a tiny dab is better than spraying the heck out of everything!

chances are after going through the shipping process, it will lose some of its stength. however if it bothers you that much, i would suggest just rewritting it onto some non-scented paper. :)

Oh send it, by the time he gets it it will have evaporated even more, and if he's in the dry desert air, the scent will fade soon enough. I'm sure he'll enjoy it :)

time it goes through the postal offices and machines, and in many different hands it will calm down...

It will fade. In the future, just a little dab is good. The object is to draw people in closer, not repel them. ;)

Go ahead and send it. The scent will diminish a bit as it goes on its way. I think it's a very sweet gesture and I'm sure your husband will appreciate it. And, this is not a stupid question.

its a toss up. im sure your husband will be pleased and that makes it worth doing but someone along the way might be allergic . but after a night outside in the mailbox with all the other grubby letters im and the long haul to wherever it will probably dissipate a little

I used to do the same thing!!! I was with a guy that was in the Marines and he was deployed twice and every time i would put some lightly scented perfume on the paper.

Don't put to much or else the paper will get wet and the ink will smudge!
Actually yeah...it's best not to put too much! You can sent it, sure! It just will still smell when he gets it! There is nothing wrong with sending a scented envelope! He'll get it! Take care!!
