We have always lived in Alabama. Now we are moving to Illinois for a job transfer. We are looking at Clifton, Chebanse, Kankakee. The houses in our online Kankakee realty searches are gorgeous and CHEAP. What gives? Nuclear reactor? KKK headquarters? Haunted?
Help. Does anyone know anything about these three towns? A good town is our most desired criterea. Low crime,etc.
