It's a pentium 3 with 1ghz processor, 512 mb of ram. Well I decided I wanted a clean install, mind you, I'm a newbie. Don't laugh... So I used Acronis to delete the hard drive forgetting that acronis is on the drive and would delete itself in the process. So it did and I have an incomplete delete process and cannot move forward with my exploration of linux. I've tried everything to clean out the drive and it's not working. I'm currently downloading Ubuntu to do a clean install with that... The Drive itself has no errors, I used the disk manager from Western Digital but nothing can zero out the sectors not even the Diagnostic Tools on the iso/cd I burned from Western Digital! What am I doing wrong? Help anyone?!!!!
