Ok so i ate at olive garden for the first time!!!!!!????

why do people like this this place so much??? they act so cool by putting cheese on your meal right in front of you with a grinder...the plates are hot as hell i almost burned myself on it...and the food isnt that great at all...the bread sticks suck...the food is OK but it tastes soggy kind of ...my family can make better italian food and we're french...LOLLLLLLLLLLL 3 people..not that great at all for a 70 dollar meal plus 20 dollar tip...total let down...

Never understood how people thought that crap was "fine dining" or how people thought it was so special to go there???

It always makes me laugh. I've been there twice. Once to try it out and the wait staff were belching pass our table and giving each other piggy back rides towards the kitchen. Food was crap.

The second time we went to a different one, and we waited for an hour for our food and it tasted like shhhh. The waitress was preoccupied by whatever.

I just don't get how people think it's good food???? They must be idiots because all the food is pretty much pre-made and sent to them from a person I know that had worked there.

That's a franchise for you . . .

It's a CHAIN for cryin' out loud! It ain't fine dining!

I kinda like it for a nice lunch*, but, I agree, it probably wasn't worth that much for three people.

*note, I say "nice" not fabulous or great! It's a kinda fun place to go with a couple of friends, and we have kids, so...

It's consistent, and it's nationwide, if not more...the atmosphere (and I'm sure this might vary from store to store) is pretty nice, and very Italian, but consistently mediocre is not the same as a really good place, that you have to rely on locals to tell you where to go. You know what you're getting.

And, Who says this place is so great, anyway? Are you relying on the commercials to inform you? Well, THOSE people ARE paid to make you think the place will be great, after all.
