Ok over the past week some of my fishes were dieing and some were fine.?

Today i went to the pet store and they said it was the ph. every thing is fine but the ph. so i got the kit and i tested the water and it was yellow as in 6.0 i need it to be 7.0. so i added the ph up drops and tested it like in 30 mins and its the same 6.0 . the box said 2 drops per 1 gallon and i added 20 i have a 10 gallon tank . and like i said in 30 mins its the same 6.0 . i dont know if the drops take a day to work? help
 
drops usually do not work-- You can look up other ways to raise the pH but chemicals arent going to help too much. Try doing a water change and see if theat raises it.
