Ok My Dell Laptop chat?

Ok I was looking at the apple site and I saw Ichat then I looked up windows chat on google and it popped up a site showing how to start windows chat(winchat.exe) when I did it it said it could not find it.So my question is do you have to download it or something plz help .
 
If you are in Yahoo, why don't you just use Yahoo messenger. You can use it from within the Web Page without loading anything to the computer.
