gore fest, too much CGI, too much? explosions?

Seriously, did you expect Transformers 2 and 3 to be anything but Transformers fighting? they ruined the first one with too much human story line.
Or would you expect Conan the Barbarian to be a love story instead?
or Avatar. too much CGI... Please get real...
