Ok I need help with a linksys router and motorola?

I'm connected with att and have a motorola modem.

I have a laptop and want no cords attached! I want wireless internet.

So I have a linksys wireless-G broadband router.

Does the linksys give me wireless connection to the internet?

And how do I set it up???

Cause I really want wireless internet ASAP
