ok i need a little help here it has been a long time since i have had to jet a bike?

i have a little 06' yz85 for my kid i just rebuilt the bottom and top it runs ok but not the way it should. the jetting is just not there yet. It has stock jets in it, what i have is very boggy off throttle to 1/2 throttle, I have played with the air screw in and out butt not much help. the reeds are in pretty bad shape fraded have them on order not here yet. been reading up on it a little looks like a kx slide and needle might be the way to go was hopping maybe a mini dad or mom would have some insight on it
