What is the standard oil type for a 1999 Honda Accord LX V6?

10w40 or 10w30 depending where you live. If it can get really cold (ice and crap on your car like mine lol) 5w-30 wouldn't hurt during the winter, especially during a cold morning start-up.

20w40 is too thick for the upcoming winter.
