I ahve a question maybe someone can help me with. I am an amateur oil painter..never took a lesson, but do pretty well...anyway, I am painting a snowscene for my husband for Christmas and am running into a real challenge with painting footsteps in the snow..I am having a hardtime getting them to look realistic...anyone have any tips I would really appreciate it..and any tips about how to blend the background evenly into the foreground would be a big help too
(I drew a scene onto the canvas and painted the objects first..house/people/trees..so the background is little choppy..)
