I am new to oil painting. Lately, I try to use a fan brush to paint a pine tree and encounter a problem with the brush. The brush is a fan-shape when dry. But as soon as I load it with paint, the paint causes the brush shape to clog to left, middle and right segments and so i can't paint with a complete fan shape.
Do you know why? When I buy, it says clearly its for oil painting.
