oil in the radiator in 94 Toyota Celica?

Hi , this morning it was about 27F, and I was driving in my car to work. I had the heater on and while I was driving, I noticed that the temperature meter was going down. When I turned off the heater, meter would gradually go up and stay in the normal range. After I got to my workplace I stopped the car and tuned on and off the heater to confirm that the heater was the problem. So in the lunch time, I opened the hood and checked the coolant, and there was oil instead of coolant in the radiator. The oil that was in the radiator was brownish. What do you think caused the oil to leak into the radiator. I am about to flush the radiator and fill it up with coolant/antifreeze. Please let me know what's going on with my car. I appreciate your help. Thanks.

P.S. One more thing. My car is 94 Toyota Celica if that helps
