I was bored today searching for info on the LOTR films, then while searching i found a site called 'Ancanar'.
And to my surprise i found out that Ancanar is a film being made based on Tolkiens Middle-earth world. Its an Independent movie, which means low budget etc etc, but i didnt know how low budget the film was until i saw the trailer (Click here ). It is shocking, utter cack! The film looks like a bad student film with some crap acting and some horrorific special effects being thrown in as well. It looks god awful. Why oh why do Independent film studios feel the need to always prove they can do a big film when infact when they actually end up making the damn film, it turns out to be shit?
Oh lordy lord..........WHY? From looking at the trailer this film doesnt even have the Tolkien feel to it at all. It just feels like a shuddy, badly shot student film trying to make a statement. Well they have.........and that is that they are shite!
