I will be taking a few fishing trips off the eastern coast of Florida, near Vero Beach and Fort Pierce. I haven't fished in quite a while, and I am curious; what kind of rod and reel will I need? What bait or lures should I be using? and what can I expect to catch out there. I would prefer to purchase a rod and reel that I can also use to fish in the river around here too, is that possible? or are most rods and reels meant for either offshore or river, not both.
