Wondering if there are some options or some way to get a lower rate for derm visits. I realize it would be by the site or the doc but I don't know how to find that out - where to go to see who has sliding scale rates or lowered rates for financial harRABhips.

What are you guys paying per visit? Do you have insurance coverage that picks some of it up?
Thanks.

I would say that you would be better off visiting a Spa or esthetician than a dermatologist. The people at the spa know how to make your skin look better and have high tech equipment that cures acne. And and most places its free to go and get a check up or consultation. I went for a consultation the othre day and a laser technician reccommended I try the acne lase which cost $450 for 8 treatments and the laser is like a cure. She said that my pimples will never come back. So go for a consultation and see what they say. Write back on how it worked out.

I've been to see many dermatologists and never had insurance. it usually cost about a hundred dollars. Sometimes when you don't have insurance they charge less then they would for insured patients. Beware though, prescriptions can be very expensive. Sometimes you can get them for less on the internet form canada as long as you have a doctors prescription. good luck.
