To lower wii remote volume
hit the home button, and select wii remote settings
you can lower volume, or raise it, turn off rumble and reset it.

Blue Light
You can turn the blue light on, off, or dim it from the Settings Menu

you can get into wii options from the channel menu right?

scroll over to the second page, wiiconnect 24, its under that menu

no idea what firmware, it did 2 updates today and that was it

Hmm, it should say the ver around your channels or settings. I can get into options and stuff fine, but I don't see any slot illumiation option. It says my ver is 2.0 That may mean I only updated it once, not sure.

Im pretty sure if you email urself and not answer, you can have the blue light on.

I think if you set the slot illumation on its highest setting, it will stay lit. Downside is that I think it will stay lit even when the console's off. Then again, its only what Im hearing from other people. I don't have wireless, so can't connect my Wii online and update it atm.

Alright, I found it. It was within the internet settings. Kind of an odd spot, but I guess its just because its made for message notifications.


Hope Nintendo steps in and lets us keep it on when a games up.
