Official Blackberry Cricket Service Books

Hi!

I love you.
Now I get the legacy mode.

But the problem now is: I have those 3 ziped files, Kris service book, cricket_2insane and 2insane_ckt_wifi, I have unziped those, but when I go on:

Blackberry Desktop Manager and click on "Backup/Restore" then "Advanced"

File/Open and choose the attached service books and click the arrow pointing right. When I choose those files the desktop manger give a error " THE DATA WAS NOT RECOGNIZED BY THE DESKTOP ".

What I'm doing wrong?
 
Some BB's have Enterprise restrictions, maybe that has caused this problem. Maybe you need to delete the books on the phone if it still has some from another carrier. Don't bother hitting the ok button on the storm when it says 'Legacy Mode' and third you could try some other ipd files. There are others around out there.
 
You are probably not extracting the file correctly. I had this same problem. Make sure your using WinRAR. When you open the zip folder in winRAR right click on the file and select "view file" then extract the file to the location of your choice. It should work then. Hope this helps.
 
the mms it is working, but internet open the cricket web page and said that i'm not a subscriber.
I alerady call cricket and ask then for refresh my service, but still the same.

I have done a lot of things, I got work mms, but web open cricket page and show that im not subscribe.
I already, change the prl, refreshed my account 4 times, edited by ##000000 [email protected] pw: cricket. The only service book I enable to upload on my bb it is from DaxxoNe. Those one on first page give me a error.

I give those books to anyone for free. I start with the 1050 prl and call cricket to refresh and then otap the new prl. Tell them you pay for web, but you keep getting there page that asks you to pay for web. They have to check if it otaped right. After they check you can get a nation wide prl. Likely it will go to 32100 or 32388. Can anyone check his cricket account and see if it is set right?
 
This is the same issue that I am having. Has this been resolved and if so what steps did you take to resolve the issue. I have had web working on my phone before but that was with an old plan I have since deactivated that plan and started the 45dollar plan. i am told that only cricket blackberries are allowed on the BB plan and am fine with that. Although, I would love to access the internet as I had been able to before. I have searched the internet looking for a fix for this and so far haven't come up with anything. I am not new to this and hardly ever post but I haven't found anything online about not being able to access the web with crickets new service. If you know of a fix please, please direct me to it.
 
Well at least you figured out it was the service, now your jump will be have cricket provision the wap/mms on the new plan. If they know that you have a BB they may or may not be so happy to help with that.
On a side note there are dealers here that might be willing to help you.
 
why those ipd files from the first page dont work? if they dont work, why dont upload one that can work?
