I recently got a ticket from a police officer at night time when there were no cars around. He wrote on the ticket i was going 55+ and said the max speed was 35 at the area when its suppose to be 40. I know that would still count as speeding but he didn't catch me on a radar. If i remembered correctly i was going approximately 45. And it was night time so it even harder to see. Is there anyway i can use these three to fight my ticket in court? Thanks!

How do you know it wasn't on RADAR? It could have been LASER, Pace, VASCAR, stopwatch, etc, even if it wasn't RADAR.

If he wrote the wrong speed down, you can bring that up in court and get convicted of 55 in a 40, instead of 55 in a 35.

Police officers do not need a radar gun, as they are considered experts in speed estimation. Of course, I'm not sure how you'd know he didn't use one. Fight it by all means, you have as good a chance as anyone of getting out of it. Good luck.
