Office 2007 Critical Problem with Vista Business OS?

Please help.... I have been using Vista Business as OS on my Vaio and recently got a critical problem in my d:/ there is a folder contains all my office 2007 data, while i try to open any file it says "excel cannot open the filename.xlsx because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file"

Addl Info: There is AE in Attribute column and file name and descriptions are in Green in color.

Please help... Thanx in advance.
