Odometer problem with Buick Rendezvous?

I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX. The odometer reads 0 when I open the door, and when I turn the car on it reads error. I have tried pulling the fuse for the BCM and disconnecting the battery ( I could only disconnect the red side). Can any one help be fix this problem?
