oddball/wierd fish ideas?

hey i was wondering if there are any strange/oddball cool fish that are freshwater that you know of and no the tank size doesnt matter because i do not have the tank yet so basically i would be willing to buy 1000+ tank if i need to. any fish ideas? :)
 
If u went brackish u would find a hole world Of oddball fish.
for eg
I have a Mudskipper with 3 bumblebee gobys and a javenose goby

And u should take a look at knight gobys, violet gobys or brackish puffers
 
In my opinion i say a dwarf pufferfish! they r only an inch small but if u get a group of them in a ok size tank, it's fun a watch...or some khuli loach!
