...restraining order against my ex? i don't mean to "use" the military..... but he's been bothering my family & i for over 6 years. he was extremely abusive, and i'm not going to lie, i get very emotional about him. i guess that's part of the problem with getting any help. i had a restraining order (that wasn't really enforced) in our home state, but it expired or something. i just had another baby and he's now fixated on her too, and it worries us, especially with him being away so much. we kind of just dropped it when we found out we were getting stationed 2000 miles away, but it turns out his brother is stationed here as well so he's still around. i don't know the state law (TX) regarding this sort of thing, but i know back home (DE) they wouldn't do anything because i didn't have enough proof of stuff? i'm not sure how him following me around, texting me constantly, circling me and my kids in public screaming about things and grabbing me by my hair, etc etc etc is nothing, but as pathetic as it sounds, i don't want to go into a courthouse or police station here and hear again that there's not enough going on for it to merit any action. he disappeared for a few months, but he's back again as of tonight with the incessant texts.... then it escalates from there. i did the whole number changing thing, but it got out of control keeping all the doctors and work and everyone updated, so i started blocking his number, and then he would keep changing his number or calling me from other phones. any advice would be helpful. and i really don't feel right "using" things, but if the resource is available, I think i need to at this point.

i'm not sure what category to put this in, so i'm going to let Y!A to pick....
