I'm currently running iOS 6 beta 1, and am updating to iOS 6 beta 2 right now. I've noticed this bug before on iOS 5, and I just thought I'd document it somewhere.
Whenever I try to play a song from my music library on my iPad 3 (that's what it is, deal with it
), usually from a playlist, it plays a random other song on the same playlist. The second time I try to play it, it plays my song properly. It happens even when using the multitasking widget. I've noticed it only happens when I switch over to Music or the widget using gestures, but when I use the Home Button, it happens less frequently.
It may be my library having faulty ID3 tags, or iTunes being stupid and assigning the wrong ones while syncing.
My question: is anyone else having this issue?
