Mage + Heavy Armor = Spellsword btw, not Battlemage =P

And all you have to do is cast the spell on something and kill it before the spell wears off. If you have a large enough gem to hold that particular soul, it willl do the rest for you.
 
Probably a stupid question, but how do you fix up a house you've bought? For some reason I was pretty sure you could, but I'm not sure how you go about it. Or can you?
 
Don't need to. I did it several times without all that. I can't remember exactly how I did it though. I think it was just click on stone and drag it to the weapon, armor, whatever.
 
Can you move shit around in the PC version? I saw no button labeled to do so in the manual or the control setup, but on GameFaqs someone mentioned it and said "left trigger button" which means they are playing faggot ass 360 version.
 
Im a level 3 now, and i really have no idea what i should go do. Ive done a couple fights in the arena, done the 1st part of the main quest, and searched around and fought through some dungeons.

Im a dark elf, trying to do a melee type fighter supported by decent offensive spells.


Should i join the fighters guild or mage guild? Start down the dark path and assassinate some people?
 
Where are these 'guilds' people are talking about?

and is there a place to sell armor and stuff?

and is there a way to get a horse, without stealing one?
 
During the mage guild quest, you'll get a mage's staff with around 40 charges for 80 damage of whatever you want... whether it be frost, fire or shock.

I believe in the south eastern city of Bravil, there is a stable where you can buy a horse.

The guilds give you lots of quests to do by joining them.
There is a fighters, mage, and thieves guild, as well as the secret assassins guild called the dark brotherhood.

The dark brotherhood will come calling if you murder 2 people.
 
if ur on a Xbox360,
press B
then, pull the the left/right triggers to highlight the status bar tab on the very left of your menu
then u can scroll to the subcategories and check your health, skills, and other stats
