OBD 1 on 92 cadillac can it change fuel or idle settings after you go through codes?

what is that 1.0 +or - ? after going through the obd codes it went to something like "1.0" and by pressing buttons in went + or - by a tenth ex 1.1 1.2 etc now seems to be running rich or idleing faster.... a little help here???
 
No, it does not modify anything. It only reports on them. I think you are mistaking the 7.0.0 code for 1.0.0. the 7.0.0 means you have read all the codes, both ecm and bcm. That is the way mine works just like the book says. If yours is different then there is a problem with the code sensor or something.
