Obama to withdrawal from Iraq?

Obama says (on whitehouse.gov) he is going to withdrawal combat forces from Iraq in 16 months (summer 2010) do you think he'll be able to do that or will he back out from that campaign promise?
 
i dont think that anyone can really know. i think the decesion is bascally up to him so i think that all we can do is sit and wait. our only other choice is impeachment. but that would be uncalled for.
 
Hope he gets troops outta there and Afghanistan!!!!! ASAP!! My brother has to go over there in June (He's in the Air Force) and I'm really really sad about it!!!!!
 
Watch and see. Obama will, uh, reevaluate that. Changing circumstances, you know.
 
Politics are full of lying, decieving, and full of broken promises. He may have intentions of it, but I think there will be more war.
 
He seems very gung-ho about it and it is one of the main reasons he was elected. Obama is a people-pleaser, he won't let his followers down.
 
Its not up to Obama. There is an agreement with Iraq requiring that withdrawal schedule.
 
I don't think he'll be able to because the there is success in Iraq and, after all the work that's been done, the generals don't want to leave it unfinished. If he does, I think he'll lose a lot of military supporters, and I'm sure he doesn't want that.
