does he actually know Lincoln was a Republican? He's had such
good remarks about Lincoln (like he's been studying him). Lincoln
was for war and winning it, which is completely opposite of Obama's
thinking. Does he want to be known as the present-day Lilncoln?

Republicanism then and Republicanism now are two completely different things.
It might be helpful to research that before asking a question like this. I don't mean to make you feel ignorant, but by this question I can tell you're not educated enough in this particular matter.
All the more to learn, though, right?
Yes, he is different than Lincoln and some manners, but he greatly admires him in others.

Republican party had chenged dramatically since then. Obama's attitude to bi-partisam snd his philosophy of leadership closely resembles that of Lincon

Simple minded fool, you believe because Lincoln was a republican he was incapable of having a mind of his own. Some how a person who is of one party or the other can't share communality. A party not the person make, it is the people who make the party. By the way republican party of that time is not the same one as the one that exist today.

Lincoln was not for war air head. In his time it was a necessary evil in order to preserve the interest of the Union that was under threat by the confederates. How is war with Iraq a country that never attacked us equate to the same. You should keep your time invested in things you have an act for. Because you definitely do not understand the implication and consequences of war. Dumb as republicans always the one instigating wars never the one fighting it. The only Christ in your names is the one that comes after Anti- .

Any way what do you care, you probably hate Obama for being black and winning. So you certainly don't appreciate Abraham Lincoln for freeing the slaves.
