NZB Indexing sites!

Alright guys here's a list of NZB indexing sites. Please tell me what thoughts/changes you'd like on the formatting, any additional sites, feedback on sites, etc. etc. and I'll be sure to include it.

NZB Indexing Sites

Auto Indexed
Sites such as NZBindex, Binsearch, and Supersearch are auto indexers. This means it automatically indexes everything posted on usenet, including the spam. Similar to public torrent sites, while the selection is far more extensive, there are always the spam, fake and dupe posts that you must watch out for.

User Indexed
Sites such as FST, Merlin's portal, NZBSRUS, NZBs.org, and NZBMatrix are user indexed. That means that actual users hand pick the NZB files that are verfied and legit, and index them on the site. Similar to private torrent sites, you can be assured the validity of the files. However, indexers are human and won't index everything, so you can't be assured the breadth and variety you would see on auto indexer.

General Content

Automatically Indexed
  • NZBIndex
Free auto indexer, Great turnaround time and results, highly recommended
  • Binsearch
Free auto indexer, Very high retention
  • NFO:News
    Another decent free auto indexer
  • NZBClub
Great free indexer with a variety of options
  • NewzBox
Free auto indexer, relatively low retention compared to others
  • GoNZB
Free auto indexer, very odd design, not a huge fan
  • Newzleech
Oft used free indexer, but currently down with uncertain future back up!
  • Supersearch
Not free, integrated into purchased version of NewsLeecher
Simply one of the best Auto indexers with a great turn around time
  • BinTube
Recently changed, Not free, integrated into purchased version of BinTube client
Decent auto indexers but in my opinion not quite as great as free alternatives

User Indexed

  • FST NZB Index
    Shameless Self-Promotion
  • NZBs(dot)ORG
Extremely extensive library of content for a user indexed site, highly recommended
    Requires Registration
  • NZBs'R'Us
Another great free user indexed site with decent retention
Free but pay for small increase in retention, Registration Required
  • Merlin's Portal
    Great format and retention, recommended
    Requires Registration
  • NZBMatrix
Practically the largest breadth of content I've seen at any user indexed site, but paying for VIP almost mandatory
Paid VIP for retention over 20 days, registration required
  • Newzbin
Personally I don't see the appeal but many users swear by it, has an auto indexed section as well (Newzbin v2?)
Monthly subscription required to use site, invite required to join

Forum Design

Personally I can't stand the concept of having to search through a forum search in order to find NZBs (FST and Merlin's portal both have a seperate NZB index area) so I almost never use sites like these. If anyone wants to provide feedback on them though I'd be more than happy to include it. Most of these sites require registration and have an optional donation scheme.

TV Content

  • TVNZB
Great and intuitive design for a TV index, large breadth of content
  • NzbTvSeeker
Great content and design as well, but not quite as polished

Movies

  • NZB Movie Seeker
Down but a frequent occurrence, hopefully they will be back up and running soon

XXX
  • Kleverig.nl
Great content and spotters, good previews of content
(I know, I know, I hate forum designs but I'll make an exception for Porn :P)
    Registration Required
  • NZBXXX
Sister site of NZBMatrix, decent amount of content with the occasional thumbnail preview
Registration Required, no VIP (unlike NZBMatrix)
  • XNZB
Great previews and thumbnails but updates are very sporadic and irregular
  • NewzXXX
Sister site of Newzbin. Decent amount of content but no previews.
Account on Newzbin required, but subscription not required
  • NZBporn
    Decent porn site.
    VIP account on NZBs'R'Us required.

Anime
  • AnimeUsenet
Apparently one of the best sites for anime, although I've personally had no experience with it.

Why does it feel like usenet is turning into BT?

Rare sites, rumored to be the best there is...

The hilarious bit is that all posts are public, It's like getting an Invite to isoHunt :P

Some people don't know about BinSearch, NZBIndex etc to search for a release and create a NZB.

I can understand about not knowing that you can request on IRC because some people are baffled by connecting to servers and using triggers to use in order to request.

/server irc.efnet.nl
...
/join #alt.binaries. (mostly)
--/join #gotnzb4u to download NZBs filled on a AltBin network

I personally hate EFNet, they do nothing to add a layer of anonymity, Like LinkNet, Rizon etc do.

RSS feeds from auto indexers are notoriously unreliable, and although you could probably code a bot to grab nzbs from irc, for most people that's too much hassle. When TVbinz was open, its feeds were a quicker than matrix and newzbin, and it was free. I doubt that has changed now that it's private.

There does come a point though where you have to ask, is it all really worth it just to get a 10 minute head start downloading?

Please show me the exclusive releases of Vault.bz in Usenet and while at it the dvdrips of x264.me as well

Lmao, the "thevault.bz" exclusive releases are a joke :D. 100+hrs of waiting time even if you have donated shitloads of money to the site.

Basically the only way of getting them is joining the group buy.

I would like to attach this thread as well: Link

I am not sure if you include all the indexers included in that thread but I hope you dont mind me adding this thread here as well for the convenience of readers :)

The traffic has doubled in the past few months at nzb sites, including this one. It must be connected with Newzbin, but now that they've reopened their traffic blew up too.
