i'm a junior in high school and plan on applying to NYU and majoring in photography.
i get good grades, however not GREAT grades like most students accepted into nyu.
however i've been told i am very talented in photography. it's what i want to do with the rest of my life.
so now i'm wondering, if i applying and sent a VERY impressive portfolio, do i still have a chance to be accepted without about a 3.5 gpa?
if not, what other universities(NOT art institutes like brooks) would i have a good chance to get it based more upon talent instead of grades.
