At least four people were shot Friday morning during a commercial robbery near the Empire State Building, an NYPD spokesman said.
The Associated Press reported the shooter was dead.
Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said details of the shooting are still emerging.
The FBI said it was on the scene.
The shooting occurred in the area of Fifth Avenue and 34th Street, but the NYPD...
