NYC universities - can you tell me what you know about these schools?

I have a good knowledge of where I wanna go to school and am going on visits soon, so I was wondering if anyone could share personal information they know about these schools (What is it like, campus life, how hard is it to get in, what are the students like, is it in a rough part of the city, etc)

Fordham University (Bronx), Pace University (Manhattan), St, John's (Queens), and, even though it is in Nassau County, Hofstra University (Hempstead).
