[h=3]Associated Press[/h]KATONAH, N.Y. — Cardinal Timothy Dolan is expected to preach at the suburban New York funeral of a teacher killed in the elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn.
Archdiocese of New York spokesman Joseph Zwilling says Dolan will be the principal celebrant at Thursday's service for Anne Marie Murphy.
Zwilling says the cardinal wants "to express his support for all who lost their lives in Newtown and their families."
Mourners started to arrive more than an hour before the funeral at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Katonah.
Hundreds paid their respects to Murphy at a wake Wednesday. The 52-year-old teacher was among 26 people killed Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Her father, Hugh McGowan, has said authorities told him Murphy died trying to protect her young pupils.
