NV Edit fails

I have a env xz9900 I am trying to use NV Edit to change the MMS settings but when I try to run that part of LG Download, I hear 3 beeps then I get a failed message. Can anyone please help me?

What other dll can I use for the vx9900?

i would honestly use a diff version 9900 dll, but I have had success with 9100 dll.

Does anyone in here have the VX9800 ROM tools? I just noticed that all the links I had for them are dead.
