I have been battling back problems for a long time with back pain, pins and needles in legs and feet. I had a discectomy 2.5 years ago. Re-herniated L5-S1 and herniated L4-L5. I have had many injections and they do not work. I just recently started with constant nurabness between my toes. This is not the same as the pins and needles feeling. It has also occured up my left side of one leg, but not constant. Is this something to call the doctor right away or can I wait and see if it gets worst? I just saw my doctor last week when I did not have this symptom. Is this something that neeRAB to be mentioned immediatly?

Usually they say you need to go to the ER or call the doctor immediately if you start having bladder or bowel involvement or if you develop foot drop. You can feel nurabness in your legs and or feet for years and it doesn't raise any eyebrows. With the herniation you probably have something pressing on the nerve root. You should definitely mention this new symptom to your doc when you next see him.
