I had a mirodiscectomy 0n L4 and L5 11 weeks ago. Since day one the only lingering symptom I have had was some mild tingling and nurabness in the bottom of my left foot. The excruciating sciatic pain in the back of my thigh was completely gone right after surgery. About 2 weeks ago I believe I overdid it doing things around the house and now the nurabness and tingling in my left foot has increased. Also, occasionally now, I have mild nurabness and tingling in my right foot. I have never had any syptoms in my right leg or foot up till now. Does this mean that I may have re-herniated the disks or aggravated another one? Note that the nurabness in my left foot was the last sympton to appear before surgery, only after the sciatic pain and some nurabness on the front of my left shin. It seems odd that the nurabness would get worse but that I am still free from any sciatic pain - not that I'm complaining, just trying to understand what is going on.
