Numberplates: sticker vs. paint (paint is worth it!)

I'm no photographer so bear that in mind. My front numberplate was painted to match the rear factory ones. The factory ones are just okay...you can see where the pinstripe is taped over itself and it doesn't fully outline the plate. The "Ducati Superbike" logo is actually a sticker and you can see where it is raised under the clear too. (Check the pic)

My front plate not only matches the rears perfectly but is done so much better without the tape and with a full outline. The Ducati Superbike logo is spot on in Nimbus Gray (sp?) and I'm spending under $300 on this entire job, which also included labor to take out my black air vent liners and epoxy in CF ones.

No rough vinyl to catch all the bugs...now I have clearcoat to wash and wax with no concerns. Yeah I could have spent $50 and some time to have the vinyl one (that was already on there by the way) After spending $15-20K on a Ducati I'm not sweating the extra $200-$300 to keep it looking like the Superbike that it is! Hope you like...

P.S. Sorry, I don't know how to size images...wanted to bring them down a bit for easier viewing.
