In a month or so NSW brings in new motorcycle laws. This means I will be one of the first people in NSW to hold a Green p plate for a motorbike cause I cant upgrade until after the cut off date. So this means another 2 years on a restricted bike 
Currently I own a 1994 Kawasaki ZZR250 which has done me well to learn but after 2 years with it I want to get a quicker p plate legal bike.
So I want a road bike that is nearest to the 150kw/tonne that I can get to see me out the next 2 years. I have noticed the Yamaha SZR660 seems to be out towards the 150kw/tonne limit.
Does anyone know anything about the Yamaha SZR660?
Can anyone suggest something similar that would be up around the 150kw/tonne.
Is this a fruitless exercise should I hold on the ZZR and bite my time.
