I am Indian and work in US. My spouse lives in India. Currently, I have filed a petition in family court to void our marriage since he was already married and blessed with a son before marrying me. I sent power of attorney to my father to file a case. Somehow, we mutually agreed and I am on the verge of getting a verdict. My attorney is saying that I should appear before the court of law at least once to get the final verdict. I am trying to avoid visiting India due to financial constraints. Is there any way that I can get the final verdict by not appearing before the court of law? I would appreciate your responses in this regard .. Thanks…
