Why don't republicans want him to make investments in infrastructure, transportation, and education? This isn't wasteful spending. The US needs to fix all our bridges and make high speed trains, and improve our students' educational standards, because we are way behind modernized nations... Now is not the time to hold out country back.

This link shows the state of transportation in the US being weak, as graded by our own civil engineers. I myself am an electrical engineering student, and have realized that our students have the potential to be the greatest, but our educational standards are just low.
