Now that Fritz Henderson is out, what will happen with GM?

Now that Fritz Henderson has stepped down as the CEO of General Motors, what will happen to the company? I know that Ed Whitacre is the stand-in but do you think that he will be named the permanent CEO? If not, who else do you think would be named to it? Bob Lutz is probably too old to be considered for the job, although he would be a good candidate for the job.

Do you think that there is any possibility of one of the "dead" brands being resurrected now? Saturn is too far gone now in liquidation and Hummer has already been sold. Saab's future is very iffy at the moment and I don't think anyone knows what will happen with it. Even though Pontiac has wound down and no new models are being produced (the final Pontiac for American consumers was a fleet G6 built last week), do you think it is possible for Pontiac to possibly make a comeback? Out of all the brands killed off, Pontiac would be the most likely to survive. Pontiac sold a small but decent number of cars and their dealerships already all sell Buicks and GMCs so very few of the dealers are closing down as a result of losing Pontiac. Does anyone think that Pontiac may ever be resurrected? I hope so, but what are your thoughts?
