yes, a fishing kitten, as yet unsuccessful but either his skills are going to get better or hell fall in.
i cant find anyware neerby that will sell just a hood so does anyone know any online stores or places in sunderland/durham/newcastle area where i can get one?
its a 70 liter tank.
its a rectangular tank

Sorry I don't know of a store, but I had this problem once and fitted a net over the tank. It's much cheaper and the air still circulates. The cat will not attempt to get on it as it is very flexible and it's paws would get wet.
The only other idea might be to get a piece of metal cut to size and lay it on the top, having drilled a few holes in it. You could get this from a scrap yard. Good Luck.

Hi is your tank hexagonal, you could try the local papers, or if you have stermat store, you can get hoods from about £25 pounds good luck

my kittens had an obbession with bath water, they liked the bubbles they both fell in (seperate incidents) and haven't been near it since, So he'll learn (just keep and eye on him

Try pets at home, there's one in sunderland for a hood, or just put a peice of wood over the top,

If not try freecycle, someone might have one lying about that you'll just have to pick up (so free) www.freecycle.co.uk and join the sunderland group
