Novice question about filling up my car?

While filling up my car with gasoline on my driveway, I spilled a little bit naturally on the drive. I've since drenched the area in water but the recognisable gas multicolours are still visible here and there on the drive, despite it all having been washed.
I'm far from in the knowledge when it comes to even the most basic car stuff, so I'd like to know if I've washed it away enough, the last thing I need is to be having a smoke later and watch my driveway go up haha!

If there is a stain on the drive go to the auto store and get some oil dry(it is like cat litter)and put some on the stain and work it in with your foot.Sweep up the excess then when it rains it will wash away the rest of the residue.This works for oil stains,too.
