noticed something weird with my monroe, is this an infection?

i have a monroe piercing, got it done about 2 months ago. today i noticed a little flap of skin inside my lip. it's red but painless. it's almost perfectly round and flat. what is this and how do i treat it? is it an infection?

Take out the piercing and let it heal. Use antibiotic ointment. Your mouth is a terrible place for a piercing. See your doctor if you don't get better soon.
