with "Global Warming is not.? ...true" or "We hate Al Gore"?
Instead of recognizing that the millions of tons of coal emissions spewed out by factories each year in the US is bad for the environment and bad for us?
It doesn't really matter if global warming is true - that's just one theory of many how pollution hurts us and the world, along with children getting cancer, people getting asthma and bronchitis and lung cancer, and on and on.
The facts are inconvertible - pollution is bad for us!!!
(And how much you hate Al Gore has no relevance either!)

You are just using this as a straw man argument - "Global Warming is not true" or "Pollution does not cause Global Warming" and then pretend that somehow changes the fact that pollution is bad! Don't you see that?
Angel - I agree that there should be more nuclear power. And I honestly think they should drill the hell out of Alaska - they stuck stuck this on to try to get Greens to vote for it. Shameful.

It is amazing how they deny the environment is being destroyed by humans when all they have to do is look and remember:

We never said "Global Warming is not true". Quit putting words you twisted into our mouths as if they're the truth.

We acknowledge global warming as a natural trend as a part of this planet's cyclic nature of warming and cooling.
 
You are very wrong. Conservatives love the earth and strongly believe in helping our earth. We just disagree with the government forcing things down our throats. We are smart enough to not have laws forced to make us recycle and do what it right. Most conservatives I know are taking great care as well as making contributions to group that are working to help.
Some people, I guess, are not smart enough and need big brother to step in and make a larger and more expensive government to control us all, taking away our freedoms.
 
Agreed,Coal Emissions are not in any way good for us.So why has the American Left spent decades fighting against the US converting it's Electricity to the most affordable,realistic alternative Nuclear? It seems to be working quite well for much of the rest of the Industrialized World,the current Marxist President even supports the use of Nuclear Energy by Dictatorial Regimes like Iran,but somehow America is still supposed to use expensive and unworkable solutions like Wind.

Some people just hate science. This is why some people want to brainwash our children by having creationism taught in schools, and this is why some people continue to deny the reality of global warming.

When you have no argument, that's when the accusations begin. This is what is known as logical fallacy. These have historically been used as a last ditch effort in debates, in lieu of a legitimate argument. Today, they're standard.
 
John McCain is a conservative and acknowledges that global warming is real. Not all conservatives say global warming isn't real and that is proof of it. It is unfortunate that a scientific issue has become attached to conservative beliefs. Next time you see a question posted like that you could counter with "And what is your experience with super computer modeling of global atmospheric climatology?". The new super computers at Los Alamos are powerful enough to put this issue to rest permanently.

Btw: it is silly to post information based on out of date statistics. The ice age may not have been ended because of carbon (and maybe it was - I don't know) but we have up to date information now that shows that global warming is real. The only question now should be "what can we do about it?".
