Notice! 1050 Is Not A Cricket Prl!

1050 is NOT a Cricket approved PRL. If you are having issues, please try a released cricket PRL like 1040, 5044, 1012, 32688 or something that is cricket sponsored.

I will try to OTA again when I get a chance but this was suppose to be a non evo prl but I get the EV syrabol on it. Is it possible they change 1040

Wow...I have been trying to get my diamond to OTA for month's now with 1050. I manually changed it to 1040 and it worked. I looked at the settings and now I got 1013 in arkansas.

Thanks...

I have tried the 1050 prl in the past with no success either. I thought it was the EVDO prl. I just use the 1040 prl then do a *228 and in these parts it usually updates to the 1013

1050 is a custom made PRL by jammis I believe. It is not cricket approved.

1013 is a non roaming, EVDO prl. 1040 is a non roaming, non evdo PRL.

So the link in "The Official PRL" thread for col something or other will have all prls available ? KK gonna find the link thanks for info

Oops guess not looks like the link was taken out  guess its time to google it thanks again for info

Newest ones are as fallows

1013 EVDO PRL ( Might be Cali Only )
1042 ( Non EVDO PRL )

1541 ( Non EVDO with PEC)

1050 everyone says its a non cricket PRL but to be honest this thing was the borab so if it was made him Jam it kicks ***

I just took my Sprint Diamond (out of the box) to Cricket yesterday, with a flashed 1050 prl, to have it activated. OTA wouldn't work. I retrieved the prl here.. http://corolada.com/prl/. Cricket didn't mention anything about the prl. I'm also in the PHOENIX area. The .prl I used on my Motorola ROKR prior to my Diamond phone upgrade was 1007.
To be honest, this is my first flash...I thought, read, follow directions, read some more and it would all be pretty easy..ACK!
I had no problem flashing updated ROMS to it. I am now searching the forums for the CORRECT, up to date way to include MMS/SMS and proper internet settings for Cricket on a Sprint Diamond with Mighty ROM's 4.2. I have text messaging and a super slow Opera working at the moment. (If you can point me, I'd appreciate it).

Your services on your line determine what PRL you should be using.

non roaming, non evdo phone = 1042 (or similar)

non roaming, evdo phone = 1012 (or similar)

roaming, evdo phone = 38644 (or similar)

1050 was created to add EVDO in markets that didn't have EVDO launched yet. All markets should be able to use cricket standard PRL's from now on.
