This past month I havent been producing enough milk for my 8 month old daughter. She is constantly getting frustrated that no milk is coming out, and wont nurse more then a couple minutes at a time.
I used to have a pretty good supply but now My breasts feel empty and I cannot pump more than an ounce at a time (while she is on the other breast).
I have tried giving her formula as a supplement but she gags and will not drink it no matter how hungry she is. (Enfamil premium lipil-closest formula to breast milk)
She has been on solids since she was 6 months old, however she isnt the best eater. (breakfast- oatmeal w/ pear or apple), Dinner (brown rice and veggie) and some gerber cookies and mum mums as snacks. She nurses throughout the day for a few minutes at a time.
Why is my supply so low now? What can I do to help increase it and help my constantly hungry baby?
