Not feeling "right"

Ive had colds and flu's before but something doesnt feel right with this one. I woke up this morning with a low grade fevor around 100 and serious chills. I was very nauseated and light headed. My heart rate was at a resting rate of 110bpm and my left arm has a pain near the elbow. My hands are also clammy and cold.

My arm has me a little freaked out, im afraid its a blood clot or something  but i dont know why that would be the case.

Blood clots make your arm red and hot....is that present?

If not, call and ask your doctor. If you don't feel like it's a normal cold or flu, trust your gut and call. The arm pain may be from something else all together. Don't let a single symptom distract from the other concrete symptoms.

No my arm isnt red or warm, it feels normal other then pain and a little swelling around the upper elbow. Not really sure whats wrong with it, didnt know what to think it was if it isnt a clot. Numbness coldness in hand and pain, im not sure what to think it is.

The pain might be due to a simple muscel pull/stretch. But still its always advisible to consult a doctor also cos u have fever n cold

I'd also visit the doctor just in case. If anything just doesn't seem right to you, you are better off checking with the doctor to make sure (and ease your mind!). It's very possible that it may be a coincidence that you have the arm issue along with your other symptoms. I know a lot of people (in different states and areas) are sick or not feeling great at this time of year. Seems like many areas just have things in the air really bothering people. I know my allergies had been acting up and I recently had a low fever (99.6), stomach issues, and neck/jaw pains. The doctor thought I had a stomach virus, and likely I just pulled my neck muscles or were grinding my teeth a lot since I was sleeping often. The doctor can check for signs of other illnesses to rule them out! I mainly wanted to make sure it wasn't meningitis, but the doctor was able to rule that out. Hope you feel better soon!
